Daniel Cheifetz, CEO and Founder
Mr. Cheifetz is an experienced technology entrepreneur, whose achievements include a leadership role in the successful IPO of Open Text (Nasdaq: OTEX) in 1996. The IPO was based in large part on Livelink, the first enterprise Internet application for document management developed by Mr. Cheifetz' company Odesta, which Open Text acquired in 1995. Mr. Cheifetz received a B.A. in American Studies from Grinnell College.
Erik Larson, Executive Vice President and Co-founder
Mr. Larson was integral to the conceptual birth of Indie Energy, and has served as Executive Vice President since the Company's organization in 2006. Mr. Larson has a background in sustainable building and organizational consulting, and received his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin summa cum laude.
Robert Olden, Senior Vice President of Engineering
Mr. Olden has led the engineering and R&D divisions of Indie Energy since 2007. Prior to joining Indie Energy Mr. Olden worked in the aerospace industry as an opto-mechanical engineer/team supervisor at Raytheon Space and Airborn Systems. Mr. Olden received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Southern California.
Paul Fishbein, Senior Vice President of Project Development
Mr. Fishbein has more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate development with firms such as Centrum Properties and Transwestern. His knowledge and relationships in commercial real estate markets have increased the Company's market traction and sales volume. He holds a B.A. from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Gary Tracy, Controller
Mr. Tracy has an extensive background in financial control of manufacturing and technology companies, as well as in public accounting. At Merkle Korff, Mr. Tracy managed the financial control of the company in its growth from $18 million to $100 million as well as through two M&A phases. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign.
Bart Torvik, General Counsel
Mr. Torvik comes to Indie Energy as general counsel from a position of Senior Associate at Dorsey and Whitney. Mr. Torvik's expertise in intellectual property and business law has brought critical skill sets needed for Indie's rapid growth. Mr. Torvik holds a J.D. from University of Minnesota Law School magna cum laude.
